What this is
AeroMedQBank provides practice questions, explanations and short study lessons for residents studying for aerospace, occupational and preventive medicine board exams. It is an unofficial study aid run by an individual. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, the American Board of Preventive Medicine, or any other board or agency.
Education only, not medical advice
- The questions and lessons are for exam preparation. Do not use it to make decisions about patients or aircrew, and do not treat it as regulation, policy or clinical guidance. Always use current official sources.
- Questions may contain mistakes or be out of date. New questions are reviewed before members can see them, but a review does not make a question error-free. Please use the Feedback button to report problems.
- Using the app does not guarantee any exam result.
Your account
- Accounts are created by the program administrator or, when the administrator allows it, by you on the sign-in page. When sign-up is open, an account you create yourself gets free access straight away. Otherwise an administrator must approve it first. The administrator may change, remove or delete any account, and may reset its password. An account is for one person. Choosing a residency program is optional. If you join one, its faculty, once they approve you, can see your progress as described in the privacy policy, and you can leave at any time in Settings. Do not share your password or let others use your account.
- Keep your password private and tell the person who invited you if you think it has been compromised.
- Access can be removed for anyone who breaks these terms.
Faculty, reviewers and administrators
People with these roles can see more than members, as the privacy policy explains. They may use what they can see only to run the app, support the residents in their program and improve the questions. They must not share it, and they must keep what they see about individual members confidential.
Messages and Support
- You can send feedback about a question, or a message to Support, from inside the app. Replies appear in the app. No email is used.
- Support is run by an individual and answers may take time or may not come. It is not for emergencies or for anything urgent about a patient or aircrew.
- There is a limit on how many messages you can send in a day. Administrators and reviewers read them, and administrators can see who sent each one.
Using the content
The questions, answers, explanations and lessons belong to the developer or are used with permission. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, screenshot in bulk, redistribute, post, sell, or scrape them, and you may not try to get around the app's access controls or the limits on what you can see.
Your own notes remain yours. If you send feedback or a message, you allow it to be used to improve the questions and lessons, without any obligation to reply.
Your conduct
- Do not enter patient information or any sensitive or classified information in notes, feedback or Support messages.
- Keep messages respectful and useful. Do not use the app to harass anyone, to try to learn who sent a message, or to look at other people's information.
Cost
The app is currently free to use. Some accounts may be given access to extra content (a "pro" plan), which does not cost anything today. If paid plans are ever introduced, members will be told before they are asked to pay for anything.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". It may be unavailable at times, and the developer does not promise it will be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not responsible for losses arising from your use of the app or from reliance on its content.
Changes
These terms may change. The effective date above will change, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
